Abstract

The article deals with suctorian and apostome ciliate species which are host –specific commensals or parasites of subterranean animals and may be considered as troglobionts. The data on caverni colous suctorians Spelaeophrya troglocaridis from antennae and legs of shrimps, Tokophrya niphargi from subterranean amphipoas.
