А.КовтунauthorУ статті порушено проблему дослідження глибини розгортання семантичних структур релігійних лексем, зафіксованих сучасними словникарями. На прикладі здійсненої словникової каталогізації значень церковнослов'янізму агнець вироблено рекомендації для вдосконалення сучасного лексикографічного представлення подібних запозичень з уточненнями мотивації біблійних вживань та розвідок словотвірно-етимологічного праслов'янського гнізда.
