З’ясовано посутні риси своєрідності романного мислення, зумовлені ерудованістю письменника, вмінням вдало використовувати фактографічні джерела, надбання усної народної творчості та міфології, поєднувати філософської ідеї мислителів із своїми власними та майстерно втілювати їх у своїх романних полотнах.
