Особливе занепокоєння викли-кає факт зниження рівня здоров’я та фізичної підготовленості дітей дошкільного віку. Результати щорічних медичних обстежень показали, що за останні 15 років кількість дітей віком до 14 років із серцево-судинними недугами зросла з 14,5 % до 28,2 %. Протягом 2005–2008 років зафіксовано суттєве збільшення кількості дітей з порушеннями гостроти зору, зі сколіозом, з порушенням постави.
