Охарактеризовано види військово-спортивного багатоборства та визначено їх особливості. На основі аналізу наукової літератури досліджено вплив цього виду спорту на розвиток особистості студента. Підкреслено, що заняття військово-спортивним багатоборством мають виховну та оздоровчу спрямованість, сприяють розвитку всесторьонньо розвиненої особистості, вихованню морально-психологічної стійкості, почуття патріотизму та колективізму, формують морально-вольові якості.
