We have put forward a definition of the concept of “information culture” and described its levels: technologic and socio-psychological. Information culture is a component of the general personality culture and determines the way in which it interacts with the information space. Within our study, socio-occupational invariants that are part of the personality information culture form two fundamentally different levels of personality information culture. The technological level of information culture refers to the ability of a social relations entity to interact with digital information technologies, to use ICT and its functionality. Socio-psychological level of information culture is related to the ability of the subject of social relations to analyze the processing of information and use it for social activity. According to the results of our research, we have found that in the representatives of technical professions and civil servants the socio-psychological level of information culture is at the stage of formation. The technological level of information culture remains at a high level of development. The results obtained indicate that the development of competencies that are part of the technological and socio-psychological levels of information culture is not limited by the conditions of a particular professional environment and begin to form at the early stages of socialization.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">BF Psychology</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2019-12</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>Вид-во ЖДУ ім.
