description: It was analyzed the peculiarities of the studying of the parasitic organisms  during the course "Biology" in general-education schools. It was found that students  learn about the peculiarities of the life of parasitic in secondary school. Senior  students deepen their pieces of knowledge and focus attention on preventative  measures. Studying parasitic organisms is a necessary precondition of  understanding the value of one's own health and that of others. The presence of the  Health and Safety content line in Biology promotes safe behavior skills.
