title: Семантико-синтаксический статус родственного дополнения в английском предложении

abstract: Данная статья посвящена выявлению семантико-синтаксического статуса родственного дополнения.
Автор рассматривает те структуры, в которых узуально непереходный глагол употребляется с
прямым дополнением, этимологически ему родственным, т. е. образованным от того же корня. Автор
пришел к выводу, что при выявлении статуса родственного дополнения речь идет об интерпретации
родственного дополнения как предиката.
