In the article the influence of study progress attribution, as a dispositional characteristic, which is formed during learning activity, to the development of first-formers` creative abilities self-appraisal is examined. It has been established that, children`s orientation towards the development of abilities in reproductive forms of activities is conditioned by attribution relative to diligence. The development of self-appraisal of first-formers` creative abilities is stimulated by attribution of progress in studies relative to abilities. } }
