%X It is proved that the locally uniform limit f of a sequence of space homeomorphisms fm in  the Sobolev class W1;n  loc with the outer dilatations KO(x; fm) · K(x) 2 Ln¡1  loc is either a  homeomorphism or a constant. If in addition, f is a homeomorphism of the class W1;n  loc ; then  KO(x; fm) · K(x) a.e.
