Different views on mechanisms of empathy are covered in the article. Empathy is examined as the integral, structured, multilevel phenomenon, which is grounded on the functioning of the emotionally-cognitive-conative mechanisms. The author vision of peculiarities of empathy mechanisms system correlation and functioning during personality ontogenesis is presented.
