%T Affixation and word-composition in modern english
%X Word-formation concerns the process of creating complex words of the smallest meaningful units. Word-formation can be distributed through affixation, derivation and compounding. Compounding, being the most productive mean of creating new words in English, nowadays more often uses the affixational mechanism in the formation of new words, that is the tendency of enlarging modern English vocabulary with new word-forming elements.
