The right of choice enables the implementation of the basic existential needs of the individual. Policy choices associated with man's desire to be the subject of public administration and feel their participation in private and public life. This paper analyses the results of an empirical study of motivational determinants of political choice in young people on the eve of the early parliamentary elections; determine their effect on political preferences in the process of selecting a particular party or bloc. As a result of our study we can conclude that the political choices of teenagers has more to do with external situational factors than internal ideological convictions. The most important motivational factors that shaped arrangement of one of the political forces have been linked to their ability to defend the interests of the people and unite people around a certain national idea.
