abstract: Abstract. In an article on the basis of the thorough analysis of psycho-pedagogical and methodological scientific sources highlights the key definitions investigated problem, outlines the educational function of the university website as an important tool to guide students in information and educational space. The basic requirements for a robust educational content website, the criteria for its content. Investigated the importance of creating their own educational websites to universities, reflecting the level of information and communication for people engaged in learning activities.
