%X The malacological collection of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University is described.
The materials are represented by ca. 7 300 specimens of 43 freshwater gastropod species
and 6 300 specimens of 7 freshwater bivalvia species. The mollusks were collected
mostly in Ukrainian waterbodies by members of the Zhytomyr School of Malacological
Research.
