The first approach is based on the operations borrowed from drawing, where standardized axonometric projections guarantee the quality of images, the second approach is based on the experience of many generations of teachers and academic practitioners. A list of methodical tips is formed, the analytical way of reasoning in computational problems is promoted, the method of matching with the picture plane is flaunted, which visualizes the way to the result, adds practicality to the discipline. A statistical survey of mathematics teachers demonstrates their attitudes toward constructive problem solving in stereometry, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of teaching the construction method.
