description: In 6 molluscs species and subspeies of the family Unionidae (U. tumidus falkatus, U. rostratus rostratus, U. conus borysthenicus, C. ponderosum rumanicum, C. piscinale falcatum A. zellensis micheli) we detected two trematode species, Bucephalus polymorphus, Phyllodistomum folium. The average infection rate of molluscs was 10,7%. The infection in males is higher than in females. A definite tendency of increasing extensiveness and intensiveness of trematode infection is visible.
