Abstract
In Erikson’s view, formation of a relatively stable identity and conception of one’s own future is the specific devel-opmental task in adolescence. Erikson’s theory and Marcia’s conception of the identity status give an interesting basis for construction of two models of development of this relation and its changes in lifetime.
