The Features of the Structural Organization of Spinal Ganglia in a Subphylum of Vertebrates

The paper presents the results of research and studied the morphology of spinal ganglia in representatives of diff erent classes of vertebrates: bony fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, differing by level of organization, locomotion, habitat. It is revealed that certain structural and morphofunctional restructuring of spinal ganglia is carried out in the process of phylogenesis. Adaptation to different conditions of existence was accompanied by a change in the number of parameters of the spinal ganglia: density and size of neurocytes, increasing of the total number of gliocytes and perineuronal glial cells, polymorphism of neurocytes to the degree of chromatophily.
