Abstract
The article examines the effectiveness and practical application of physicochemical methods in the pharmaceutical analysis of medicines. The authors emphasize the critical role of instrumental techniques such as UV-Vis spectrophotometry, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), thin-layer chromatography (TLC), infrared spectroscopy, and electrochemical methods (potentiometry, conductometry) for the identification, standardization, and quantitative determination of active pharmaceutical ingredients. These methods provide high accuracy, selectivity, and rapidity, enabling reliable quality control, detection of falsified medicines, and monitoring of drug stability. The study highlights their importance in improving pharmaceutical quality assurance systems and ensuring patient safety, concluding that further development and implementation of physicochemical methods remain key directions in pharmaceutical science and analytical chemistry.
