his article highlights the growing importance of developing communicative culture and competence among IT specialists within the modern information society. Because the core duties of IT professionals—such as data collection, processing, storage, transmission, and network security—are inherently communicative, strong interpersonal and social interaction skills are vital for market competitiveness. The authors define communicative competence across socio-psychological, individual, and psychophysiological levels, emphasizing its foundation in professional etiquette, personal values, and cultural norms. To effectively foster these skills, the study advocates for establishing clear structural and didactic frameworks within higher education curricula that reflect the specific communication needs of the IT industry.
