The article examines the outcomes of intensified online teaching on the overall quality of higher education in Ukraine under conditions of profound multi-level transformations caused by globalization, the digital revolution, the COVID-19 pandemic, and full-scale war. The authors analyze the transition from emergency adaptation to a long-term strategic trend involving comprehensive digital transformation of the learning environment, changes in pedagogical roles, modernization of assessment tools, and expansion of academic opportunities.

The study highlights positive effects, including increased accessibility and inclusivity of education, support for students in different regions and under forced migration, development of digital competencies among students and teachers, flexibility of learning trajectories, and the formation of a new educational culture oriented toward innovation and continuous professional growth. Special attention is paid to the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS), adaptive platforms, virtual laboratories, and Open Educational Resources (OER).

At the same time, the authors identify significant risks and challenges: ensuring academic integrity in remote assessment, reduced student socialization and informal academic interaction, limitations in practical and laboratory training, and psychological consequences such as cognitive overload, decreased motivation, and emotional burnout under martial law conditions. The necessity of hybrid learning models, psychological support mechanisms, and a healthy digital balance is emphasized.

In the long term, intensified online teaching contributes to the internationalization of Ukrainian higher education, expansion of academic mobility, and global collaboration, provided that high-quality standards, systematic monitoring of learning outcomes, and integration of digital technologies with traditional academic values are maintained. The authors conclude that the impact of this process on the quality of higher education depends primarily on the level of pedagogical implementation, strategic management, and institutional capacity for innovation.
